The Year Turns

Happy New Year All!

Thanks to everyone who bought music, went to gigs, organised events, gave us the use of their beds, showers, washing machines etc etc over the past year.

2022 was very busy for us, we were still playing catch up with gigs rolled over from lockdown and then there was new stuff coming in. To add to our own gigs we also did the Nelly tour, along with Robb Johnson, Conor Lynam, Emily Jane Lee, Lucy Ward and the writer Graham Hopkins.

It was great to get back to Germany again. We were there when Covid started to bite and had to abandon the tour and get home whilst borders were closing behind us.

For the most of the year audiences were varied, some gigs selling well and some not so, but we did see a definite upturn toward the end of the year. Hopefully this bodes well for the future.

On that note, if you are thinking of attending a live event of any kind please don't leave it until the last moment before booking. Many folks have had gigs cancelled by the venues due to poor advance sales.

2023 Is looking very promising, we have deliberately cut down on the number of gigs (last year was nuts) but we do have some belters coming up. As well as gigs across the UK, we will be heading to La Gomera in February along with Phil Beer and Paul Downes for a week courtesy of Harmony Voyages. In September we will be making a return to touring in Canada and then we'll be at Costa Festival in Portugal in October.

Please check out the dates page for full details for all of or gigs and hope to see you somewhere in 2023.
